Welcome to Pottery And Pig

where craft meets quiet inspiration.

The Studio
A small, sunlit space tucked away where the air carries the scent of damp clay and quiet focus. It is here, among shelves of drying ware and jars of glaze, that ideas take shape.

The studio is simple. Workbenches are worn from use, tools are chosen for feel, and the window frames the garden or the changing sky. It is a space that encourages patience — a deep connection to the material in your hands.

Visitors often speak of the calm here. It reflects the care poured into each piece. Every pot is given the time it deserves, and the studio becomes a quiet witness to its making.

Our Process
Every piece begins with a handful of clay and an idea shaped by the season. Or sometimes, we simply feel like painting — and that’s where our bisqueware comes in.

The process is slow, guided as much by instinct as by technique. We work in small batches, allowing each form to settle and reveal its character before it meets the kiln.

The making is done entirely by hand — the shaping, the smoothing, the glazing — each stage carried out with care, not urgency. Once fired, pieces cool in their own time. Glazes shift, surfaces texture, and no two items are ever quite the same.

This gentle unpredictability is part of the beauty — a reminder that nature and craft work together. From start to finish, our process is as honest as the clay itself: simple, thoughtful, and quietly purposeful.

Pottery and Pig
Small-batch pottery, made slowly and with care.

We believe the best things are made without rush. Each season, we create a limited collection inspired by the rhythm of the countryside, the simplicity of traditional craft, and the beauty of a gentle imperfection.

Every piece is painted by hand in small batches. No two are ever identical — each bears the marks of its making, a reminder it was shaped by human hands, not machines.
